The Buddy Bowl® consists of three sturdy molded polycarbonate pieces which snap together with a positive locking seal. It's unique three-part construction creates two chambers for water supply: the funnel-shaped drinking chamber, which allows pets access to a constantly-replenishing supply of liquid, and the containment chamber, which houses a generous supply of water. A gravity-activated valve near the top of the funnel piece allows air into the Supply Chamber as water is depleted, but closes when the bowl is upside-down, preventing water from the supply chamber from exiting.
