This unit is great for the testing of Antifreeze and battery acid in automotive applications. This refractometer will allow you to determine the freezing point of anti freeze as well as the electrolyte strength in lead/acid batteries.
On the chart below, the E, P and B refer to the Ethylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol and Battery Acids.
