Sweet Almond Oil serves as a great emollient and lubricant, restoring moisture in the body and combating itching and inflammation.
Olive Oil contains rich amounts of Vitamins A and E as well as minerals and antioxidants. Applied to rough, cracked dry spots, it is softening and moisturizing.
Shea Butter, the "queen" of moisturizers, is a common health aid and healing balm. This high-fat butter is full of Vitamins A, E, and F, eliminating uncomfortable dry patches, helping to heal wounds and chapped, cracked skin, and restoring natural body oils.
Aloe Vera, an all-natural skin tonic, is healing and ultra-gentle on the skin. It is an effective treatment for allergies, abscesses, fungal infections and many types of dermatitis. It will decrease inflammation and help to remove dead skin cells, encouraging the healing of wounds. Aloe Vera is also a wonderful plant source for producing a clean, vibrant coat.
Calendula's inherent anti-inflammatory, astringent, antifungal, and antiseptic properties make it a wonderful topical agent. It is used to treat boils, rashes, sunburn, chafed skin, insect bites, and other skin irritations.
Chamomile's essential oils act by soothing irritated skin and tissues. They assist in the healing the body and easing the pain of burns and other skin ailments.
Comfrey is an amazing tonic with a high number of beneficial nutrients, chemical compounds and vitamins and minerals. As a plant with a wide range of medicinal uses for both internal and external ailments, it is emollient, antibacterial, antifungal, and antiinflammatory. As if that weren't enough, it heals wounds and injuries, alleviates pain and increases cell growth.
Jojoba Seed Oil, which is actually a "wax ester," is similar to skin oil, or sebum. It spreads well, absorbs well, and is full of antioxidants.
Beeswax is a by-product created by bees in the construction of their hives. It is antibacterial, antimicrobial, healing and purifying, and is applied to wounds to fight infection. We believe in cultivating cruelty-free beeswax that protects bees’ normal, natural production cycles.
Plantain oil is a soothing skin lubricant with beneficial properties for the outer skin tissue. It makes a great treatment for damaged skin.
Vitamin E's benefits to skin are numerous, which is why Vitamin E has become such an essential part of skin care overall. Because of how easily the skin absorbs Vitamin E, it is commonly used topically to protect skin cells from damaging free radicals and to treat a number of skin diseases and skin conditions, including sunburn.
Lavender oil, with its clean, fresh scent and calming, balancing properties, provides gentle care for the skin and is often applied to itchy spots as a healing aid.
Rosemary, one of the most popular essential oils, is a natural disinfectant. It has been used to prevent fur loss, alleviate dandruff, relieve both skin dryness and pain, and stimulate coat regeneration. In addition to its vitalizing scent and aroma therapeutic properties, it will leave your pet's coat radiant and fresh-smelling.
Tea Tree Oil, naturally antiseptic and antibacterial, increases the body's ability to fight off infections. This oil actually encourages new growth as it stimulates cells, and is used for keeping tics, rashes and fungi at bay.
Basil oil provides relief from pain, and its antibacterial, analgesic properties make it an effective natural treatment for cuts, wounds, burns and skin infections.
